Will this ruin my diet?

I've been dieting for 45 days, exercising for 30 mins, 5 days a week on an exercise bike for 2 weeks and I've lost 4lbs. I'm female, 5'3", 134lbs (down from 138).
I have a cheat day which is a Thursday. I didn't actually eat that much this Thursday though, I might have gone over my 1200 calories but not by much. Any way, tonight I've been invited to dinner and will probably eat around 600 - 700 over my 1200 calories. Will this spoil everything?

No. You can eat lighter throughout the day to save some calories, but one day will not destroy everything. Just pick back up tomorrow.0

I'd get in some extra exercise today and enjoy dinner. Also, you can take food home rather than eating everything.0

I don't have much time to exercise today but will double my exercise tomorrow if that will help.0

You should figure out your maintenance calories--you can do that by what MFP estimates as your loss per week at 1200--and then if you stay below that number you simply will lose less that day than otherwise or take the day off if at maintenance. (This doesn't mean you'd see it the next day--it's not linear.)
Most likely 600 calories above 1200 is still below your maintenance even without extra exercise.0 -
How many pounds per week did you tell MFP you want to lose?0

Before I bought my bike I was losing 0.5lb a week just dieting but for the last 2 weeks I've lost 1lb per week.

OK ... a 1 pound per week loss means a 500 calorie per day deficit. If you eat 1000 calories over your daily goal for just one day, then eat your goal for the rest of the week you will have a 2000 calorie deficit for the week.0
