Gaining!

I asked this question to my friends but thought it would be a great one for the community as a whole. I started loosing weight on June 1st. At this time I could barely walk because I have a skeletal deformity. The pain in my hip was excruciating. There were times when the only way I could get up my stairs was to crawl. I was only 210lbs (+ or -).

Since June 1st I have lost 14.1 lbs. 211.9lbs to 197.8lbs this morning. I just noticed yesterday that my hip hasn't hurt in weeks. I can now walk up the stairs one foot per stair.

So what have you gained by loosing weight?

I feel healthier, with more energy. I can handle stress better and I have stopped being an emotional eater
Good luck in your healthy journey

The #1 thing I gained has been self confidence. I've learned to turn to exercise instead of food or drink for comfort from stress and depression. I still get pain in my back and hip due to my own deformity but it's probably less than it was before.
