Share best practices pleeeease

So I'm starting on my weight loss journey for the hundredth time. I've seen a lot of success on this app. Can anyone share some best practices from when they started that helped them stay on track and not veer off after day 3?

Don't cheat yourself. As long as you're under calories (and making your macro/micro nutrients), live it up! When estimating portions, guess big if you're On the fence.

You have to make a decision to change your life and not expect immediate results after 1-2 days. It didn't take 1-2 days to get where you are now so it's not a quick fix. So many people start out strong and then get discouraged when they don't see lightning fast changes.

    Best practices for me:
    • Get a food scale, weigh my food and log my food every day
    • Try new healthy recipes
    • Exercise 6-7 days a week (take a rest day if needed)
    • Include both cardio and strength training in exercise routine
    • Get a tape measure and take your measurements, repeat every 2-3 weeks
    • Read the success stories for inspiration
    • Join a few challenge groups (especially exercise challenges)
    • Set mini goals and reward yourself for reaching them (but NOT with food)
    • Resolve to celebrate small victories
    • Have fun!
Feel free to send me a friend request if you're really ready to make this change! I'd be happy to support you!

    Good luck!

I like buying the next size smaller in my favorite jeans and I weigh my food so I can still eat pie and my favorite Doritos.
