No gym, what can I do at home to gain weight?

Options
Just wondering what excercises I can do at home without the need to join a gym. I'm looking to gain some weight, add some muscle and tone :)

Thank you

Eat in a caloric surplus = gain weight.

    Calisthenics.

definitely will take longer without a gym and you can only go so far with your own body weight but you could always try those workout video like insanity. Initially, I wouldn't get so caught up in gaining weight but just getting your diet in check (meeting protein/carb/fat needs)

If you still want to work on adding muscle you can definetly look into bodyweight workouts that focus on strength, since they need very few to no equipment.
(As far as I know insanity is more cardio)

    You should look into:
    -you are your own gym
    - convict conditioning
    - Nerdfitness beginners bodyweight routine

If you are willing to invest you could look into getting (one or all of):
    - (adjustable weight) dumbells
    - A barbell, bench, plates and power/squat rack
    - A TRX (real or fake, or make one yourself)
    - Pull up bar

push ups, squats, stairs.... if you are able to go to second hand sports store and pick up 5lb 8lb and 10lb weights to start. Or you can go to walmart or target and get an over door chin up bar and some tension bands.

One key to building muscle is progressive resistance training. There are several programs designed for body weight exercises that progress in difficulty and can provide what you need.

Look into "you are your own gym" and "convict conditioning".
