Should I be aiming for a plus or negative calorie number at the end of the day?

Your deficit is built into your calorie goal, so aim for 50-ish calories under or over.

You should aim to be right around your calorie goal, give or take a few calories above or below.0

You should be aiming for the number that MFP recommends. Your deficit is already accounted for in that number.0

It's really hard to hit it exactly. Maybe some people manage it, but I don't. One time, I was one calorie off.
