Is it OK to eat carbs for the supper? If I still stick to the dayly limits? Or is best to have a super full of proteins instead.

Yes it's okay.0

That's great, sometimes I really fancy bowl of porridge in the evening, and it's something what everyone says to eat in the morning :-(0

I wouldn't say it is not OK to have carbs. The further they are from exercise, the more complex they should be. Try some casein pudding instead. Casein is a very slow absorbing protein that will fuel your body overnight.0

Yes. I've found time is not as much of a factor as I used to believe. Stay within your calories and macros and you'll be fine.0 -
Thanks guys, I'm maintaining weight pretty well even though I eat carbs in the evening...I just thought about the stories about fat, and how easily its stored from those evening carbs which won't be burned because everything slows down and get ready for the night. Isn't it making my fight for the dream toned body difficult?0

I'd say have your main meal and leave carbs for the end.
Egs, I'll eat Steak , avocado, mushrooms , pumpkin , broccoli and kale. Then if still hungry have rice or potatoes.0 -

This is completely false. For one, if you have glycogen stores to fill, they take priority and the carbs will go to glycogen and not fat.
Two, if you're in a caloric deficit on average, the fat will come off, regardless of meal timing or macronutrient timing.0 -

Starve your self of carbs now and you'll binge later, I guarntee it. Not that I don't like low carb diets, I'm following one right now kinda. I just listen to my body and try to spread my carbs out. If I start feeling like a zombie I know they gotta go up.
I really don't believe that having carbs at one time of the day vs another time will make any kind of difference in regards to weight loss. Some people try to spike insulin levels for a work out but that's another chapter.0 -
You can eat carbs at dinnertime.
A dinner without veggies is just wrong.0 -
I eat carbs at night. In the morning. Every time they fit into my calories. For me sugar is easy to give up because I'm a carb person. If I had to eat low carb or not at certain times I think I'd go crazy.0

The question is a bit vauge. It implies you are on a nutrition plan limiting carbs.
So does it fit your strategy? Your calorie goals?
If you have no carb related goals or issues it seems fine.
I like some steel cut oatmeal. Very much a carb thing.
Unless there is a need, worrying too much over little details can take the fun out of what should be something you enjoy!
Losing weight and getting fit is an awesome thing. Enjoy it!
Good luck with your future fitness.

A "dream toned body" *is* very difficult to get.

Carbs aren't your enemy . I eat cookies , cakes , whatever as long as it fits into my day.
It comes down to calories for weight loss. Eat at a deficit and you'll lose weight.0 -

Its not if you know you want it, and are willing to do what you gotta to get it. just because you can't take a pill and wake up with it doesn't mean it's "very difficult"0 -
Most of my carbs are consumed in the evening. I carbs!0

It does not really matter what time you eat carbs etc for weight loss. However on a personal level you might notice little differences on how you feel. Some people might eat high carbs late at night and feel bloated/uncomfortable for bed. I personally like to feel full on carbs of an evening as it helps me sleep, I feel satisfied and don't really need to eat breakfast the next day so it carries me through my Intermitent fast.0

That's exactly what I do.0 -

Hmm. Roasted chicken with asparagus and casein pudding vs. the same with potatoes.
Going to go with the potatoes.
Hasn't hurt my weight loss yet.0 -

That's a really good idea, to fill up on the veggies and protein, eat carbs last so you don't have to eat much of them!!0

What the ever loving...
Eat what you like, when you like as long as it fits within your daily goals and you will be met with success.
That is all.0 -
Remember Veggies are carbs too though.0

By "very difficult" I mean that it takes high levels of commitment and work - levels high enough that most people won't be able to do it, unless they make it a strong priority.
The good news is that *all* it takes is commitment and work - so anybody who really wants it can in fact get there.

I prefer to eat the majority of my carbs in the evening because I find I am hungrier a couple of hours after eating them. If it is bedtime, I am less likely to go looking feed that hunger than if it is 2:00 in the afternoon.0

Carbs at night, everynight!
They help me sleep, feel satisfied and that way me and my boyfriend can eat the same meals (he doesnt track).
Chicken, potatoes and vegetables0
