I think that sounds boring, repertitive, overly restrictive and very, very silly.

If you eat at a deficit for 10 days you will lose as well and have more diversity.

Hey! To me it sounds sort of boring. I like the idea of eating whatever I want as long as it fits in my calorie goals.
But if you decide to do it let me know how it goes!

What do you eat after 14 days?

Is this a real diet? Why chicken and broccoli vs some other sort of protein and veg-like beef and cauliflower? There's no reason. Silly nonsense.

    This sounds miserable.

Why would anyone do this? Unless you were stranded on a desert island for 14 days with nothing to keep you alive but chicken and broccoli?

I had gochuchang chicken and broccoli for dinner which was tasty and delicious. But I would, in no way, want to eat that for 2 weeks. What sadistic monster came up with this idea?

    Why?

Chicken and broccoli is great, but why only that? I don't see the point of limiting your diet that much; I doubt it's sustainable for most people, and it's a good way to get the idea that a diet is miserable and something you can only do for so long. Better to figure out how to eat within your calories longer term (and while eating a normal, enjoyable, and diverse diet).

Well, I detest broccoli. But even if I didn't, eating only two things is not healthy. You need a variety of fruits and veggies to get your nutrients.

The diet sounds dumb. I wouldn't advise following it.

I like both chicken and broccoli, but I might be borderline homocidal if that's all I had to eat for 14 days, plus I would probably immediately start binging when the 14 days were over. Why not just eat a variety of foods in a calorie deficit?

Everyone's gonna tell you it's a stupid idea.
Do it if you want to. You won't die. It'll get annoying after a while eating just that for 10 days, but if you can deal with it, go ahead.

Just as a start, that diet would leave you calcium and iron deficient, and probably without enough fat for normal hormonal production/support.

Would also not provide enough carbs for energy, and your body would shift over to ketosis. You would likely experience carb withdrawal symptoms ( keto flu ), generally feeling like crap, while you lost 8-12 lbs of mostly water weight.

You would regain that water weight the instant you started eating regular amounts of carbs again. Oh, and the extremely high protein intake could possibly damage your kidneys, although the likelihood is extremely low for this short of a time period.

It only works if you blend them together in a shake.

    Eeww!

A pound of broccoli every day? That much cruciferous vegetable is going to cause quite a stink! LOL

Sorry, but that sounds absolutely awful. If I tried to follow that I'd go binge crazy after just a few days. Death by broccoli. :p

I eat a ton of both chicken and Broccoli, but wouldn't want to only eat those two thing myself.

Why can't people just eat healthy, well balanced food in normal amounts, move more, lift things and become healthy gradually?

Broccoli has a decent amount of calcium.
And for only 2 weeks, it's probably not going to do a major amount of damage (other than the aforementioned
    gastrointestinal emissions).

But _why_ would you subject yourself to that???

The only benefit I see is that you'd be so bored & "I've had too much of this already!" that you'd be eating less.
I think it's more fun to do that with a variety of food.

I am confused, can you not steam the broccoli and sautee it in healthy, great tasting fats like EVOO or Coconut Oil?

That's how I eat much of my broccoli and spinach.

Yum Yum....lots of fats and nutrient for my body.

Opinion- It is incredibly limited. You will probably start to hate chicken and broccoli. There is no reason to do this. Just eat the right number of calories and you can eat anything you like.

Protein does not damage the kidneys in someone with normally functioning kidneys.

SEE! Already, you're able to consume less food. I told you it works!

If you get bored of shakes you can always freeze it to make yourself a delicious new flavour of ice cream:

I'd call it "double broc-chick-chunk surprise" the surprise is more broccoli.
