Workout playlist

Hi guys, hope this topic is allowed here.

I like working out but I get bored of my music pretty quickly and I need music to keep me going. Does anyone have advice/links for great music or playlists (not asking for free music, I can buy it)?

I like 80s and 90s music and fast-paced musical songs (right now I'm loving "Candy Store" from the Heathers musical) but am willing to try any recommendations for energetic music that can inspire me to keep going. I would prefer with lyrics rather than not!

Thanks!

Have you tried Spotify's workout playlists? I can find songs there that I can add to my own workout lists and this helps to keep it fresh. You can do this for free, but have to listen to ads and stream the music unless you want to pay for a subscription. It may he a good place to start to give you some ideas for new songs.

I made my cycling playlist based on songs I already had stored. Like Katzedernacht, it's all over the board but the key unifying factor is that they make me want to move and I enjoy them. Instead of fiddling with an app to skip a song, I'm flying forward from one awesome song to the next.

matter of fact, i have... and denmark, and belgium, spain, estonia, germany, and italy.

OP is in Georgia. That's the state of Georia, not the country in Europe. In the US, more and more areas are making it illegal to ride with headphones in. In NY it is illegal to ride with both headphones in your ears; you can only have one in.

Then you are one of the few.
Never heared of a headphone ban anywhere. That totally sucks.

They could be riding their bike on a bike path, like in a wooded area. That's probably safer to do with headphones although maybe still not great.

Thanks for all the tips on the music, guys! Katzedernacht, that's a great playlist : )

I don't know your stance on hard rock/metal music, but my playlist gets me pumped in ways you wouldn't believe! Even got my girlfriend into the bands on the list.

"Lift Me Up" by Five Finger Death Punch
"Dot Your Eyes" by Fiver Finger Death Punch
"No One Gets Left Behind" by Five Finger Death Punch
"Victory Lap" by All That Remains (This one is amazing at the end of a run/set)
"Wings of Feather and Wax" by Killer Be Killed
    "Step Up" by Drowning Pool"
    "What I'm Not" by Demonhunter
"Stay The Course" by Memphis May Fire

I don't usually listen to rock/metal, but yeah, when I'm working out it's definitely motivational. Thanks for the recs!
