Oh, you mean plateau. I thought you were talking about the philosopher Plato, LOL! Usually when people are stuck it is because they are eating more than they think. Are you weighing (not measuring) all your food on a food scale? And if you exercise, are you eating back all of your calories? Most people eat back only 50-75% of exercise calories because most calculators overestimate calorie burn. Lastly, I am 55and have been steadily losing .5 to 1 pound a week for six weeks, so your age is not a factor, it is just an excuse.

I was in the same position as you.....Plateau's are real! I read up on them and suggest this site: http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/weight-loss/in-depth/weight-loss-plateau/art-20044615 - for me, I started blending/juicing during the week. I still get my calories in but they are almost all from fresh fruits and vegi's. I do at protein powder to them. Good luck!

Open your diary for personalized advice, but you're probably underestimating your food &/or overestimating your burns.

Have you read the Sexypants post? So much good "how-to" information: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1
