Lack of motivation can still lead to success.

I have struggled, and struggled, and struggled. Every time I would get on the right track...something would throw me off course. Death of family, unexpected surgeries...every obstacle was there.
When you lose track of yourself so many times you just get so discouraged that it's just easier to give up and not care than it is to actually make the changes you know you NEED to make in order to be happy with yourself.
Motivation is great if you have it...what if you don't? What if you spend your whole afternoon looking at 'healthy recipes' and 'before & afters' on Pinterest hoping to find that spark…and still lack the drive to actually do something?
Well, for those of you reading this...let me tell you something. Just start logging your food every day, especially the days when you didn't eat well. Become conscious of what you are putting into your mouth.
I have been putting it off for too long. Thinking to myself every $#!@&* day that I want to lose weight and get healthy but never feeling 'motivated' enough to actually do anything.
Stop waiting to get motivated, and just start logging your food. Set 10 minutes aside each day, it doesn’t take much more time than that.
I started logging my food on May 21st. I didn't think I would hold out much more than a week. Well...just a few days shy of 1 month and I'm already down 11 FREAKING POUNDS!!!
Amazing isn't it? I lacked the motivation, and yet I still managed to lose quite a bit of weight.
Hopefully this will help some of you out there who lack the motivation just like I did, to just make one little change in your day and get you started.
Please feel free to add me if you are looking for support, I need it too.
