I dont know anything about chromium. I do know that a sugar detox might be in order to kill your cravings. I switched up my coffee creamer to SF and avoided sweets for at least a month or so when I started. I also cut our white flour products as these tend to do the same thing sugar does to the body. Highs and Lows were my enemy and until I kicked sugar I was on a constant roller coaster Try abstaining for at least 3 days and see if the cravings go away. Once they do you will be able to make better choices without th sugar monkey on your back. Also I should tell you I do at sweets now, but sparingly. I have my power of choice back, but with wisdom..I still dont bring sugar into the house, thats the quickest way to slip and eat the whole bag, box etc..but if Im out and theres a cookie offered I take it and enjoy. It doesnt seem to ruin all Ive worked for. Never was able to moderate until now, but doubt I ever could have had I not given my body a lengthy reprieve from sweet saturation. *hugs*0
