Question about recording Strength Training.

So when I do strength training, do I record the entire workout time? Or just what I feel I actually spent lifting weights? You do spend a decent amount of time in between sets sometimes.

This is why I never bothered recording my lifting sessions really...well, not using any kind of data base anyway. There are just too many variables with lifting to accurately determine calorie burn...not to mention, much of the burn really comes during the next 48 hours when the muscles repair. I always made my own exercise and called it strength training and allotted about 150 calories (basically a protein shake) for my efforts. You really don't burn a ton while you're lifting...more if you're resting less, but if you're resting less, you're also not maximizing you weights either...catch 22.0
