how to log resistance (vs weight)

I recently added a little bit of weight training to my exercise. I'm totally new to this. I'm using the Circuit series of machines made by Life Fitness. They use buttons that you push or pull for varying resistance, instead of weights. For entering my reps here on mfp, I can't figure out what to put for weight. This is the line, with pictures. I searched the company web site and couldn't find any info about how much weight per resistance level. http://www.lifefitness.com/commercial/lfstrength/circuitseries.html
Can anyone help me figure this out?

Why not just put the resistance value (number on the button) instead of the weight?0

You have a point! But if I want to switch to free weights or even to a different kind of machine that uses actual weights, I won't really be able to track my progression.0
