Shalom,
I'm working on changing my habits, starting with a 30 day streak of eating right, keeping track of food intake and exercise. I am working on increasing my current biking distance of 20 miles 3x a week to 30 by next week and 5 more each subsequent weeks. I'm also working on writing down what I eat and staying within my caloric needs to lose a pound a week. I have never been able to write down what I eat for more than a day, but then I never before believed I could.
Here is to a healthy week of good habits,
Chaya

i'm finding every urge for a soda satisfied with water is a small change - one change at a time. Mentally, I meet some urges with forward thinking of the consequences: after buying, eating, bloating and eliminating This is sometimes-to-often enough to dissuade me from junk You have the power!

So true! I don't like soda, but give me something sugary to snack on and I'm in heaven. I could so relate to what you've said. I'm working on eating some fruit or salad when the sugar cravings hit.
Friend me if you wish. :)
