During a church slow-pitch softball game last week, my knee gave out as I was trying for a double (I was safe!)... so now I am feeling the weight come on and the only P/T I've had is the initial eval appointment. Working out over my lunch hour was my main exercise though I try to watch what I'm eating, that was the BIG help. So please help me figure out what I can do to get my whole body still burning calories while not further damaging my knee. (Torn ACL and questionable 'grey' on my meniscus muscle on MRI...)

I blew my knee out and had surgery about 2 months ago. Rest & ice are your friends. It is a bigger mental challenge....eat less, protein shakes help. Your pt/dr will let you know when you can start doing little things. Listen to them so you do not have a set back!! God Luck0
