Alittle about me.

I am 48. Have gained a lot of weight in the last 13 years. Have tried a number of things to lose it over the years. Do well for awhile and then I get bored, quit, and gain it all back and more. Currently 229 lbs. Have lost 11 lbs in the last 2 months. Started working with a personal trainer last week when I hit my first plateau. He tells me I am not eating enough calories. When I post on here my bigger problem seems to be the amount of sugar I still have in my diet. Very surprising. I have my sons wedding in 16 months and want to lose another 89 lbs. This will put me at 140. My first goal is 185...I haven't broken 190 in a number of years. Wish everyone luck in their endeavor.

First off great job losing weight:) You should really make small goals and when you achieve that small goal make another goal of losing more weight. Till eventually you reach that goal.

Eating properly is the hardest part of losing/maintaining weight. EVERYONE struggles. Even the healthiest people stuggle to eat healthy all the time.

I see you wrote something about sugars. I always go over on sugars as well. But as long as you're working out Daily and Not going way over you should lose that weight. And eat fruits for sugars. Not Candy/white sugars.

Keep up the Awesome lifestyle change and you WILL reach your goal weight!
