How do I share my recipes with a friend ?

My husband recently set up a myfitnesspal account and because we eat most meals together and I cook at home most the time, I need to find a way to share the recipes I create with him so he can add exact same to his food diary. Is there a way to do this without trying to manually recreate each recipe on his account? That would be entirely to time consuming and most likely would not match all ingredients.

I'm not sure you can share recipes but I know you can use the quick tools to copy it into yours/his diary.

You can not share recipes directly with another user, and another user will not find your recipes through a search. Your recipes will be displayed in the search results only when you perform a search.

There is a work around.
User1 creates a Recipe and logs it to a Meal.
User2 opens User1's Diary (shared with public, friends only, or locked with a key)
User2 clicks Quick Tools and copies User1's Meal to his/her Diary.
