    Sitting typing on your computer burns calories. Its' just a matter of how much.

    I do this too just so I have a record of what I did. But I change the calories burned to 1. I don't log all my yard work, tree trimming and stuff like that. I figure that's a bonus. I only log purposeful exercise as calories burned (yes, I know you weren't logging it, I am just sharing :)

    The MFP exercise database for calories burned can be very high. Some entries are user entered. I've seen 1000+ calories burned for walking for an hour entries. If you could burn a 1000 calories walking for an hour no one would be a higher weight than they'd like.

    It's just like the food database. You need to read the entries carefully, make your own or correct the ones there if possible.
