Worst cheater of all is Payrod. Then again, he's a Stankee. Clemens, Payrod, Andy Pettite, Jason Giambi, all cheaters. I think Derek Jeter was clean.

Put up asterisks next to these guys' names* at Cooperstown.

    *PED era accomplishments

Now I'm P'O'ed and about to go on an anti-Stankee rant but I'll refrain. LOL. Starter/relief/closer/whatever, I almost put some obnoxious NYC dude through a glass door at a bar in St. Mark's square after he kept getting in my face about how Mariano was better overall than Nolan Ryan.

This Roger Clemens-Roy Halladay Twitter beef is hilarious though.

I was watching First Take the other day and Skip Bayless and Screamin' A. Smith BOTH agreed (and if you're a fan of the show, you know these two hardly ever agree on anything) that a reputed and highly-regarded sportswriter once wrote in his book that at age 35, Barry was at Ken Griffey's birthday party and said this to Ken and a bunch of other pro-ballers around the table:

"Man, I'm sick of seeing these guys (Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa) get all of these records and money and attention, so I'm gonna have to f****ing do what they do."

Bonds' numbers the following years after 35? UNREAL.

Bonds didn't start using PEDs until after 35, if all of that is true, but McGwire had been using it since back when he played with Canseco in Oakland.

I've heard this story as well. That is the attitude that manifested because MLB ignored the problem in favor of ratings. A historic home run race was a boom for the league, and that just encouraged "if I can't beat them I'll join them" for non users.

I think they are all *kitten*. That said. I think they all 3 get in. Should I mean! I won't lose a bit of sleep if none of them do. I'm a Reds fan and have been my whole life but rose hasn't helped himself a bit.

Pete Rose gets no sympathy from me. I’m a Reds fan since I knew of baseball and a weekend season half season ticket holder for the Reds. Pete might be one of the 2 most disgusting human beings of Reds Players ive ever known. Some of his historic achievements are honored in the HOF. He is in the Reds HOF and his number is retired. And that’s the way it should stay. No more honors.

I am glad you didn't add McGwire to the list. Had he owned up when he sat before Congress I *might* have felt otherwise, but he didn't. Had he said I used PEDs that were not illegal at the time and I regret my decision. Instead of I plead the fifth (to PEDs, because I don't want to have to just plead the fifth for steroids).
Of Rose, Bonds and Clemens? I'd vote Clemens because I know I'd be in the minority and he still wouldn't get the votes he needed to get in anyways.
I think Rose's hits and Bonds walks are very hard to attain feats. Even with the improvements in medicine and treatments for players, I don't see players playing long enough to approach these records. We are all about the new & shiny guy, not the work horses like Cal Ripkin & Mariono Rivera

PEDs or not, Barry Bonds is one of the best hitters of all time................he was already awesome before he took anything.......he was a GG caliber outfielder in his earlier days and he almost had 3000 hits despite being walked over 2500 times in his career, about a quarter of those were intentional..............500+ stolen bases, most of which were within his first 13 years...........hit almost .300 with 750+ home runs and a hair under 2000 RBIs........c'mon y'all..........even Mike Trout ain't gonna touch those numbers and I love me some Trout...........
