It has been said that it takes 21 days to form a habit, well 21 days later and 5 pounds lost I am here and feel like I have hit a plateau. For the last week I have maintained not gained or lost and I have been very strict 12000 cal diet filled with lots of exercise, this week I have felt very bloated/constipated and I feel like my stomach looks bigger than when I started. UGHHH.......

Congrats on your loss so far and for sticking with it for 21 days!
One week without a loss is quite normal, especially if you're bloated or constipated (more water or waste in your system means your scale weight goes up slightly).

Not losing every week like clockwork is normal. The body is a complex thing and doesn't follow set schedules like that. Give it a bit more time before getting too worked out and discouraged.
Also, check where you are in your cycle. I tend to retain more water a few days at the very end of my cycle and it makes my weight go up for a little while. You may be experiencing the same thing. I'm a nerd and love data so I used to weight myself everyday to track in a very detailed spreadsheet with lots of crazy formulas. The small weigh gains or "plateau" where normally either not a big enough deficit (or none at all) or correlated with my cycle.0 -
No such thing as a plateau. You are just eating at a maintenance level.0
