Thunder Thighs!

My mom told me I had thunder thighs when I was 12. Still stings a little.
And now, I really do have them. I'm 23, 5'7 and 160 lbs. I'd like to lose 20 lbs and be fitter. I eat very healthy compared to 90% of the population. Im a full vegetarian and I but organic most of the time (when I can afford it). No GMO crap, I haven't eaten fast food since I was 16, I don't eat junk food, and I'm not a sweets binger. I don't smoke and I rarely drink.
I just moved from PA to NC and my new place has a 24 hr gym and pools! So I've been working out every other day.
Any specific advice to get rid of these saddlebag-thunder thighs?

    Aw :(

No, you can't reduce fat in just one area - losing fat overall will help. Just keep to a calorie deficit.

Strength training will help with shape as you lose. Cycling (esp with resistance) can help, too.

You can still be eating too much even if you're eating vegetarian/"healthy." Do you track all of your calories and weigh and measure your food to make sure you are in a calorie deficit? You'll lose weight in your thighs along with losing weight overall in the rest of your body. Like me, you will probably always have thighs heavier than other women, but you can make them thinner if you lose overall weight. Then it's a matter of coming to terms with your particular body shape, for which you can thank your parents.
