Can a change in diet cause sleeplessness?

lately I haven't been able to sleep right. I go to bed at about 9:00 but can't fall asleep til around 1:00 or 2:00. And then it causes me to sleep in extremely late. In some cases up until noon. Could this be from a change in diet? I've had a really hard time sleeping these past few days which is when I really began to get serious. I've even tried sleep aids, and they haven't helped me. I just can't sleep.

Don't let yourself sleep in late, even if you don't go to sleep until 2am. get up at normal time, after a couple of days you should be tired enough to get to sleep earlier.0

Could be a lot of factors might be stress, depression and or performance anxiety. If the former two you need to find away to reduce the impact on your life. If the latter don't think about going to sleep till you are tired and set an alarm for when you want to wake up.0
