Today I am getting serious about being healthy. After a year of supporting my husband through serious health issues (thyroid cancer, cardiomyopathy, heart failure) I find I gained 60 lbs. on top of the 40 I was already overweight. I thought, I can get it off easily. But not true. I have tried numerous times and numerous plans but it is a struggle. I cannot do this without support. Looking forward to the journey back to good health.

I have Hashimoto's (autoimmune thyroid disease), and I lost more slowly than most MFPers. So be patient!
