My husband. He's not the "rah-rah" type, and I'm not the type who responds well to that anyway, but he listens (or pretends to) to me blather on about weight and fitness-related stuff, and is supportive of whatever I need. As well, I am motivated when he compliments me on my appearance and by his ever growing admiration for my butt and legs, lol.

I also don't demand anything of him and have never made it seem that my success or failure is somehow contingent on his behavior, so we haven't run into any conflicts.

My motivation comes from me. It can't come from anywhere else, motivation is entirely internal.

Support comes from my husband ... he's not the "rah-rah" type and I don't respond well to that either. But he weighs my food when he makes dinner. He eats what I eat for dinner. He tries not to let me see him when he eats something I would like (cheese). And he exercises with me.

My blog post about motivation ...

My sister and my nephew are my motivators she joins in when I started doing 10k races and my nephew is helping train for my half marathon next year
My eldest daughter is my biggest supporter she comes to all the races to cheer me on and she tells me that the junk I'm about to put in my mouth will not make me big and strong she's only 4 but she's top of her class for healthy eating
