can muscle relaxants actually cause other muscles to hurt/burn?

Seems like an odd question, I know. But, a few days ago I was trimming some trees, and either jerked or twisted the wrong way and my neck has been sore ever since. I did see a doctor and I am taking cyclobenzapine to relax the muscles. Ever since I started on those, I have been unable to jog for any real length of time before my calves start BURNING. I am not even 2 minutes into a slow jog (doing C25K) and it feels like I've run a marathon. I am wondering if the pills are simply making my legs fatigue easier and faster.
ideas? Opinions? I do go back to the doctor on Tuesday and I will bring this up.

I would say not to be jogging until you no longer need the meds. Might defeat the purpose. Hang tight until you heal up.0
