Compression socks: 2xu vs Cep?

Which running compression socks do you prefer? I have cep run plus recovery and 2xu elite run and recovery and it seems cep feels tighter and works better even though I bought them both for my calf size.

CEP all the way. Whichever kind RW has had on sale all summer (blue and red variety). Apparently they are the only ones that are "medically grade" tight. Although it could also depend on where you are in the range of sizes. I'm just about at the upper end of their size range (15-15.5), so it's perfect for me.

I tried a pair of the Zensah ones, because tie-dye is cute, and I was unimpressed. Although they were nice to hold the ice pack in place after I strained my calf this spring! (Note that means they were loose/stretchy enough to shove an ice pack down. Yup.)

I have both... for me, the 2XU fit better/tighter, so I like them better. But really it's about fit.

I also have a pair of Zoots, which fit great, but the stitching/fabric/material isn't as smoother/soft, so they aren't as comfortable under foot over longer runs.

I want to try 2xu running because I accidentally got their triathelete ones and not so tight on the ankle the way I like. I like cep I want crew cut ones too.

I like cep. But I must admit I am influenced (probably)by the fact that I have a cep knee brace that I REALLY like. And it has lasted a long time.

Good to know. I got the cep shorter socks like mid calf ones recently and like those too. My knee is giving me trouble so may try their cep knee braces.

I have CEP and haven't tried others. I like them. But they are difficult to get on. I just ordered some Lilly Trotters from their kickstarter campaign. Can't wait to try those!

Actually compression socks are SUPPOSED to be hard to get on. I'm pretty sure I burn more cals putting mine on than I do running in them.
