The most stupid excuses

I'm having a real personal battle in my head right now. I know that exercise works for me and I have plenty of time as I am off of work for 6 weeks. Here are today's stupid excuses my head has come up with, does anyone else have such daft excuses not to exercise?

I will take the dogs on a long walk today - I can't because I can't walk around in jeans and nothing else fits.

I will do a stint on the Wii fit board - hmmm it's such a pain to set up and the dogs try to join in.

Sometimes I wish I could turn off the voices in my head and just get on with it! Right now I'm posting on here to avoid getting the Wii fit board out!

Do something else physical, that you consider to be a fun activity; rather than an exercise (chore) but something that you don't do often because then it's already considered to be apart of your lifestyle & therefore, has no exercise value. For instance bowling is a physical activity, that I enjoy but I don't do it often.

I finally told the "voices" that I was going to just do 10 minutes and then I could go back to hanging out on my iPad . 10 minutes turns into 20 into 30 pretty quickly as exercise makes you feel better. I stop at no matter what at 30 minutes as a promise to myself for 2015.

Llok into the pomodore technique. It is geared to fighting procastination, but might help here as well.

I did used to cycle and I own a very nice bike however some scroat went to a lot of trouble to steal it ( two padlocks on the shed, four bikes all chained together with a very heavy thick chain and padlock and then all fastened to the actual shed. They used my partners bike to stand on to climb over the six foot fencing onto the neighbours garden and then over his 6 foot padlocked gate! Then advertised it for sale on Facebook, police said to go round so we did and got it back) so it's now in pieces hidden away so they can't take it :(. There isn't much to do where I live other than walk as I can't afford to pay to do anything. It's a difficult one.
