Protein Shakes

Hi all,

New to the forum thing but after advice on when the best time to drink protein shakes? I have read straight after excersize is the most ideal. I generally excersize about 5-7pm and have dinner afterwards. I don't want to replace that meal so wondering what time is best throughout the day?

I have been having them for breakfast as a replacement.... advice appreciated :-)

    i have mine with oats before my workout (4pm-5:30pm) good amount of protein and carbs for energy :)

    Good idea - do you just mix the powder into the oats with water/milk?
