FitBit and Logging Exercise

This may seem like a stupid question, but MFP records my fitbit activity, but do I also log my exercise. For instance I did 30 mins on the elliptical. Will the correct calorie expenditure be recorded or should I add the exercise to my log? I don't want to double up but I want to make sure everything is getting recorded.

Thanks

Fitbit will put the calorie expenditure into your mfp log automatically. It is often a bit more accurate than the standard mfp ones that tend to be on the high side.

No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.

I agree... You'd be doubling your work that way if you recorded any kind of step exercise.
