Hi all - I'm on a curry kick lately and have been looking for new tried-and-true NON DIET-FOOD Indian / curry recipes! I'll share mine if you share yours!!
Fair warning: None of these are low-calorie. I don't eat low-calorie foods, I just fit the food I want into my calorie allowance for the day.
Please share your Indian / curry recipes with me! I'm looking for new recipes to add to my collection! Recipes including any type of meat (or meatless) are welcome.
@Queenmunchy I'm open to anything, I just didn't want people posting "substitution"-type recipes. Like cauliflower crust pizza - type things. (Not that I'm knocking cauliflower haha just not in my pizza!)

Gotcha! She does one recipe subbing tofu for paneer, but the rest are pretty "normal!"
A 'tip' of a kind- I always find grating your onions makes your curries have a lovely, thick sauce (I usually stick some normal chopped ones in too as I'm a total onion freak) especially when making a dupiaza.
50g white sugar
teaspoon each of caraway seeds, chilli flakes, salt
Spread mixture on a non stick silicon baking mat or a cookie sheet lined with silicon baking paper. Bake 150C to 200C until sugar turns to caramel. Cool and peel off the silicon. Break caramel into pieces and put into a ziplock bag. Crush to a powder with a rolling pin.
I need to spend some time on this site! Would Greek yogurt possibly replace the cream or coconut milk? Wouldn't use the first for anything else and don't care for coconut but really want to make Indian food!

Spice level depends on how big of pinch of cayanne you add to it! I like heat, so I usually add a jalapeno to this as I cook the onions.
