First time in here and it is nice to see the support from everyone. I have made a lot of positive changes in my life, one being my diet and exercise. I have used MyFitnessPal on and off in the past and there has been a direct correlation between my successes and this app. I am now almost 90 days in on this new leg of my journey and I am hoping to make this permanent. Right now I am averaging between 2 lbs to 3 lbs a week and hope to maintain this for a while longer. My lunch breaks are pretty much my only time for gym time so it has helped stop those workday lunch binges. At my heaviest, I have registered around 340 lbs. I am down to 305 lbs now and feel very happy with my diet and schedule in the gym. I guess I am mentally preparing for those plateaus that I fear. My wife is working through her first big weight loss plateau and I can see how discouraging it is for her. I think once she gets out of it, she will have the boost in motivation that she needs.

Thanks for your time!

I know how you feel. I started MFP in earnest when I was at 350 (had been as high as 360) and lost 90-ish pounds in about 10 months. Then life got cray hectic and next thing I knew it was two years later and I was back up to 315. Back on track now and have lost 20 pounds. I don't have good financially-feasible access to a gym, but I've been running for the past few years, so that gets some burn in. I'm gonna shoot you a friend request, feel free to accept if you want.
