Calories burned?

i am newly trying to get fit, and I have maybe a weird question. Is there a way to figure out how many calories I burn with an at-home workout? Say I do 12 lunges, then a wall sit, then 15 sit-ups, then 7 push-ups (you get the idea here), is there a way to know how many calories are burned at the end? I feel like just using "calisthenics" in mfp to log isn't accurate. Maybe it is tho I dunno, as I said im new:)

Since exercise calories are completely dependent on time, effort and your bodies characteristics there is no accurate way of estimating calories burned (at home) for something like you did.
A hrm would not help in this case either because the calories they estimate are only accurate for steady state cardio.

But you are right, using calisthenics in MFP is not accurate, because MFP always overestimates exercise calories. Rule of thumb is to use half of the calories MFP gives you.

For that? Single digits. Not nearly enough to be worth tracking.
