Fitbit or Polar FT60

hey all. I've had a polar ft60 for a few years now and it's been acting up lately. It will say my heartrate has either dropped to 0 or is well over 200 many times during a workout. I can get a free Fitbit through a bonus program at work but I'm not sure if that will do the same thing as my polar. Mainly I'm looking for heart rate and calories burned. My main exercise is biking

If the fit bit is free, you can't beat the price, but for cycling, you may want to try the Polar M400 or a Garmin

I have the Fitbit Charge. It is a pedometer - it won't work with biking. I also have a Polar HRM that I wear when biking or running.

I concur wth the Polar M400 suggestion. Excellent GPS watch and fitness tracker.

Right here! The fitbit is to measure calories burned by basic activity. To measure exercise with any accuracy you'd need something like your ft60.

Have you thought about buying a new strap for your current polar and getting the free fitbit? I did that with an older polar watch+HRM I had and it extended the life until the watch went bad. Or getting the free fitbit and getting a Polar H7 HRM that will talk with your smart phone through the polar beat app.

I wasn't even aware of those options. Thanks
