You should drop TRX and switch from doing "some weight training" to a lot of weight training lol0

I hear you. Weight training is awesome but I needed something to mix it up and I'm getting older, and the resistance training is better on my joints, lol!0

Don't listen to this. Do the exercise you enjoy.
Yes, lifting more and heavy leads to better/faster muscle/strenght gains, but we have no clue if OP wants this.
Furthermore, the TRX allows progressive bodyweight exercise, which is definitely not a bad form of training.
I really want to try trx. Hopefully I'll have the time to take a class next week.

Disagree. I lift and I use TRX. I really enjoy it and definitely feel the benefits (primarily in my core, balance and stability). There are so many different exercises you can do, the difficulty is easily adjustable and I like variety.0 -
I like cables and TRX and weights and lots of other stuff
I don't like to be bored and enjoy mixing it up
It all seems to be working out fine0 -
TRX is my favorite! It was one of the first classes I tried after finally joining a gym for the first time. They recently added more sessions and I'm now seeing even more improvement in my core. TRX has definitely worked for me! Now if only I could figure out how to log it properly in mfp...0

I couldn't find anything on this app but I have the TRX app on my phone that has 50+ 30-60 min workouts and I've had to calculate my average calorie loss based on heart rate. Hopefully it's close enough0 -

Love what it does for my core!!! I have their app and get the best workout when I use one of their more advanced workout plans.0 -
Fellow TRXer here. I hate any at-home workouts but TRX is the one thing I will actually do at home. I take it with me on vacation too.
Does anyone have any links to good routines? I've basically only done the one that comes with the TRX, looking to switch it up.0 -
i have a TRX in my living room, and i love it i use it almost every day for 15 or 20 minutes to stretch my weary muscles, and i use it for joint mobility. I sometimes use it to do a few pullups when passing by , or I'll do some core stuff with my feet in the straps. I used to use it for a full hour workout several times a week, but not so much anymore. I love my TRX, its one of the better pieces of gym equip i'm purchased. I'll never give up my TRX and i'm a lifter.

I have a home gym so my jungle gym xt helps me do lots of movements that would either require machines or other equipment that I don't have room to house. I too love the core workout you get while using suspension trainers. Plus the single leg work has really improved my mobility and strength in compound lifts.0

I have mine installed in my home gym which is very convenient for me too. Have you downloaded their app? It was a little pricey but so worth it for me. Has a 12 week program with daily workouts averaging 30-60 min each and progressively more difficult. I've added a few I've found online too.0
