Do you feel guilty skipping exercise?

I usually exercise 5 days a week, skipping the weekend but today I just don't feel up to jumping on my bike for 40 minutes and won't be able to exercise tomorrow or Sunday so that'll only be 4 days of exercise this week.

Is this bad? Should I force myself to exercise today? Do you feel guilty when you skip exercise?

I just, as they say, do it.

I'm getting quite good at recognising when I'm making excuses.

I wouldn't feel guilty. I'd feel disappointed in myself.

You'd already be halfway done by now if you'd have started when you posted.

    Maybe you need rest

I did 80 miles on my bike and 1 day of back and biceps over a three day span

I was tired so I took two days off

    I few great today

Just rest when you need it and eat a calorie deficit

This isn't a game you win or lose in a few days

    Long term view grasshopper.....

    No guilt.
I trust that I made the right decision and move on to thinking about the next thing I want to deal with.

Thanks everyone, you motivated me to just do it. Managed 40 mins, burned 270 calories.
Sometimes I need a kick and a reminder of the accomplished feeling I get after a workout.

I exercise 7 days a week ... but what I do will vary from day to day.

Some days my exercise might be a 30 min walk ... other days it might be a long hike or bicycle ride.

If I skip a day ... there was one day at the end of June I didn't do much of anything ... that's OK, because I've been active the day before and will be active the day after.
