Pedometer readings

Bought myself a really cheap pedometer to count my steps on a daily basis as I do a lot of walking. How do I now enter the readings (Steps / Kcal / Km etc) in my exercise log?

Hi,
You can select a walking workout in the Exercise Tab in home page -> Click on 'Add Exercise' under Cardiovascular.
You need to enter the number of minutes and based on the speed select one of the below work out or search for more.
1. Walking, 2.5 mph, leisurely pace
2. Walking, 3.0 mph, mod. pace, walking dog
3. Walking, 3.5 mph, uphill

Use this link to calculate based on your height how many steps will it take to cover a mile. At 5'4" - 5893 steps covered over 60 minutes should give you a 2.5 mph speed

I was hoping to do an overall total for the day for example as I have it on going, does the rule still apply0
