I'm mixed on how much water to drink. I've been told to drink half my body weight in ounces of water, and I've been told 8-10 glasses is more than enough. Now I'm confused, how much do I drink?

Whichever is the greater of the two. For an average weight person of 120 to 150 pounds, 8-10 glasses of water is about right and would be 64-80 ounces or half the body weight. But If you weigh more than that, drink more, following the body weight/ounces guideline. You really can't drink too much water unless you have kidney failure, in which case you would be following what your doctor told you.0

Follow your thirst. Unless you have a medical or psychological issue, you can follow your thirst and it will serve you well.0
