Does anyone know the proper way to look up how much you BMR is kust on a normal day with no exercise? Because apparently I guess I'm doing it wrong. Went on the web found a couple sites put in my basic information weight, height, age and activity level. They all said different things like 2700 and or 3090 and 2063. So am lost, help please!

BMR is your calorie burn lying still ofter an overnight fast. It is almost certainly in the range 1200 - 2000. The other numbers are using activity multipliers from your BMR to predict your total energy expenditure (TDEE).

For simplicity just punch in your stats to MFP, tell it you want to lose 1 lb/week and are either sedentary or lightly active and eat to target for at least a couple of weeks. You'll see where you stand. All these numbers are estimates and predictions.

Thanks! I try and eat 1500 calories and I exercise 7 days a week I try to get one rest day in. I burn anywhere from 400 - 1100 calories, so says my polar watch, but it depends what exercise I do. I go running or riding or gym and or hiking. I just want to make sure am on point.
