Best running watch?

Me and my husband have been through 3 Garmin Forerunner 210 models in the last few years. They seem to break very easily. Any recommendations for a better model/brand?
Thank you!

What's been breaking for you? I am very impressed with my Forerunner 220 and it is holding up wonderfully.
Of course it depends on what you want out of a watch and how much you're willing to spend. Built-in optical HRM (Forerunner 225)? Multisport capability (Polar V800, Garmin 910/920, Suunto Ambit2/3)? Activity tracker? Just distance and pace but cheap? Good on trails/in the woods? Battery life?
DC Rainmaker, *the* authority on these matters, recommends for road runners (by price range) the Forerunner 620, Suunto Ambit2 R, Forerunner 220/Polar M400, and Forerunner 15. Jonathan Savage/fellrnr has some serious concerns about the accuracy of the Polar M400's GPS, though.
If you really want proven durability, track down an old FR305 (released 2006). I know some people who are still going strong with those...0 -
