I followed the read and was thinking "good for her" ALL the way to the bottom then when I read this:

And I have a bit of an issue with this. Why?

Because this: "there is no one "normal" way to look"



We are getting bigger and bigger because we keep pushing the normal size UP, so that it suits us. It isn't normal to be that big. Good for her she found someone but she isn't very old and is VERY big. She WILL have problems with health later. Not only that but it just simply has to affect your life and the activities you are able to do.

Indeed. Many might think it's cruel to acknowledge but the truth is he could be with her simply because he does indeed like bigger females.

Personally I think saying "Love is blind" is more cruel then simply saying he likes her body type. It isn't completely unimaginable to me that a guy/girl will like someone who is heavier, we all have our type. For me it's tall gangly guys with big ears and big feet. For other women it's short stocky guys, or big teddy bears. We all have our taste.

Nothing to argue, I always found the term 'love is blind' to be the easy way out. Love does help accept attributes but to lay it out to blindness is just someones nice way of saying "I don't get why they're together either."

I get what she's saying. The love is blind comment, gives the impression that he loves her DESPITE her size.
