What one to trust?

So I work out on stationary equipment that adds up the calories as you go. I have been tracking that number but sometimes I look at the MFP numbers and most times they are wayyyy over what my equipment says...like an hr on my exercise bike light effort like 10-11 mph is around 300 cal but MFP states its 546. And when I walk on my treadmill I'm usually at at 3.0 speed but my incline is set to 5.0 and there is not one to compare to really...but just wondering what to trust?
Thanks
Thanks

MFP is notorious for over-estimating calorie burns.
If I had to choose between those two options, I would use the lower.
Also be warned, when I used to wear a heart rate monitor during workouts, the cardio machines still estimated a higher number than what was actually burned.0
