More info about what you ate like micronutrients. I don't know if it's helpful info

there's also priority support, you can turn off the hamster wheel "more food when you exercise" adjustments, have extra calories allocated according to custom macro splits and set macros in grams.

No, the price is ridiculous for the features you get. Even if it was a one time fee of $0.99 I probably wouldn't unlock it. I might however pay $0.99 to remove the ads from the app.

If it gives you all the micros and you want that, I guess it would be. I stopped tracking on mfp because they didn't have that option. I certainly would've paid for it if they had.

Micros are important to me because my health is important to me. Some people say that if you meet your macros, the micros will take care of themselves. A lot of people have said that...over and over. But they're wrong. Meeting your macros doesn't mean you meet your micros.

However, it won't help if all you do is use the labels. You'll need to use USDA entries. Usda entries are more generic than specific and may be off on the calorie counts. So you'll need to check the calories on the package, too, do the math and make note of the difference.

It really depends on what all is important to you. If you're all about the calories, no reason to pay. If you really want to work on your diet so that it can be the healthiest it can be, it's worth paying someone. You could probably do it yourself in Excel if you have a basic understanding of excel.

I haven't used the MFP micros because I switched logging before they had it and I'm not switching back, so I can't say how easy it is or what. The MFP database was kind of a pain to use. I always had to enter my own stuff because finding accurate entries was an issue. It was generally faster to create my own, so I just did that as my default. I don't know if that's been fixed or not, but if you have to enter all your micros on your own, that could take some time. There's a lot of them. If they fixed it, though, yay. :)

Thanks for all the helpful info. I did not realize you could get a week for free to check it out. How do you do that?
