had a "false positive" today I know I was dehydrated, which cause a artificially low weight. Should I log it, or just wait until the next way in?

It's the best way to do it. In the morning, before you eat or drink, and after you use the toilet. Also, naked. :) I do love what the scale says after a night of vodka, but your body always fluctuates anyway so it really doesn't matter.

Do you want to log it? If so, log. If not, don't. It's your log, so you get to make the rules! :)

I log all of them. Dehydrated lows, inflated water-retention highs, everything. :)

true, did not think of that. I do have a graph of my downward weight loss.

I would recommend you keep to your regular weigh in and logging plan. So, if its a recording day, record it.

Love this so much. My all-time lows have been the nights after several vodka/sodas :). Temporary as they may be...

My lowest weights typically happen at 4 in the afternoon when I get home from work. I sweat all day at work so no doubt at all that dehydration is a part of it. The lows keep getting lower so I guess it is working for me.

Do whatever you prefer. Personally, I just log everything, but that might be because I like numbers and graphs and whatnot.
