As a mad passionate knitter, I approve
I just want to gobble down those big balls of frosting. And then officially get diabetes.

My nephew's cake for his 4th birthday. Yes that is David Bowie and Tom Waits riding a hammerhead shark.
Edited: adding pics is confusing0 -

I made this Reese's cake for a friend's birthday a few months back. It was quite good, if I do say so myself

I made America's Test Kitchen's Chocolate-Raspberry Torte for my sister's birthday one year. It was AMAZING!

I'm just gonna link to CakeWrecks.com - the Sunday Sweets there look amazing, and during the week you can laugh at the awful, awful decorating jobs they manage to find. Ideal cake site, imo.0

Oh here's a nifty story for ya. So I called the bakery and got an email address where I could send a picture of the wedding cake I wanted. I told them they pretty much had free reign as long as the flowers on top were the same. They were shades of purple. The cake itself was to have black fondant. I went to pick up the cake and to my surprise the fondant was white. I asked her what had happened and she showed me this picture. http://www.cakewrecks.com/storage/AmandaH.ow.kidsblacktongues.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1436757149197
She said she tried to compensate by adding black piping and more plum flowers. It still looked amazing so I chuckled, said "good call" and went on my merry way.0 -

This scene traumatized me for years after I saw Matilda.
I was also in my 20s when I saw it, so there's that.
