Is it just skin, or is it skin with fat? Howsoever you need to build muscle, and maybe the fat because that's what is dragging the skin down.

The question is, is it loose skin or is it fat? The advantage that you have, is you are young, so you should have enough elasticity in your skin that it should rebound. For the stretch marks, you can use a cream like bio oil or cocoa butter. If its fat, you still need to lose additional weight and lower your body fat. This is probably best done at this point with a solid weight lifting program and a small deficit. If you have low body fat and you still have loose skin, then you can try a bulk to add in mass to fill in the skin.

The most accurate way is getting a dexa or hydrostatic test (but they cost money). If you belong to a gym, some trainers will do caliper test and others will use a bioimpadence (hand held). Calipers are way more accurate. Hand held devices can easily be skewed by food and water. Generally, if you use a bioimpedance, then you want to use it in the AM before you eat or drink anything.

Outside of that, you can use some online tools as very rough estimates. Or you can even google, body fat pictures and see about which category you fit in. If the picture on the right is current, you could be in the upper 20's (although, hard to tell since you have a dress on).

BTW, what is your current workout routine and diet program? Can you open your diary? And what are your goals (is it to have abs.... just a flat stomach.... be strong... xx bf%...?)

You need to measure it, ask your physician about it.

Starting a progressive weightlifting program should help.
    These are two good ones:
    http://stronglifts.com/5x5/#How_much_weight_should_I_start_with
    https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/jason-blaha-ice-cream-fitness-5x5-novice-workout
I've only been weightlifting for just over 1 month and seen some small results already!

@psulemon There was a thread a few months back whereby Sidesteel used to guesstimate forum members body fat.
You seem to know what you're talking about - any chance of you starting another thread like that? It was very helpful!

As much as I would like to start a similar thread on the main forums, I feel I wouldn't be able to keep up with it as I donate a lot of my time to modding the forums. If we get a few more mods to help with the basic modding of the forums, then I would love to start up a similar thread.

Other good programs: New rules of lifting for women, strong curves (if you tend to like a program more glute focused), and starting strength.

I will say, I have worked with individuals in the past to do similar estimates and helped set up diet and exercise programs. So if you or others need that help, they can just PM me.
