On my way!

Hi all...I started really turning things around on Easter of this year. I realized, after seeing myself in a picture my daughter had taken, that I was not just heavy, I was round. Round face, round tummy, round butt...ugh.
I joined MFP a few days later, completely stopped drinking white wine (was going a little overboard in that area and knew it was time for a change) and began logging my food each day. Then I started walking. Only a mile at first, then 2 miles...then I would take long hikes on the weekends.
A few weeks ago, I ramped up the walking to jogging and decided to try the Couch to 5k program. But still that wasn't enough for me and I decided to test my limits. Saturday I ran for 15 minutes straight and yesterday, for 20 minutes! I know you all don't know me personally, but trust me, that was a HUGE victory for a couch potato Netflix binger like myself.
I've been losing weight, kind of steadily since Easter but seeing the success stories here has made me want to do better. I'm down 20 pounds from 209 and am officially out of the 190s. I'm ready to keep going and to see how far I can go.
Thanks for sharing your stories...I'm looking forward to posting my before and after photos someday too!
