A post from a teacher..Advertising vs. body image
Post an advertisement which you believe could make a person feel badly about their body-image..or on the flip side..post an advertisement that you believe could help a person's body image. I teach a 9 week unit on this to 8th graders. It opens up their minds and eyes to the world of advertising and body image (especially the females in the class)...
