Calories needed

I'm so confused about calories are you suppose to eat how much to maintain your weight or cut the calories to loose weight cause mines calculating from here is over 2000 a day I clearly don't eat enough and don't want to eat as it is after I had my baby I have no appetite expect going along time like almost all day before getting the him get sensation or after exercising so I'm basically forcing myself to eat what to do can anyone help
