I started keeping track of what i eat about a month ago, although i'm not always successful because there are so many tempting things out there and i LOVE food... and alot of the time it's just me and well it's hard to shop and cook for just me when i learned to cook for 5 plus. Anyways, two weeks ago i started running every other day and really keeping good track of my intake. I drink less calories and more water, but i haven't lost a pound I simply fluctuate in a 5 pound range. I have however seen a small decrease in my waist and hips but that is is only place there is a decrease... Any ideas?

If you were not active before or at least not as active, it may be as simple as you are putting on muscle mass. This would not move the scale or might even show a gain to start with. If you can see a change in your clothing I would go by that- clothes don't lie, sometimes the scale can be misleading due to muscle gain, water weight, etc. Hope this helps!0
