Just found this calculator and I believe it is fairly new. Just thought I would share it and see what everyone thought about it!

Seems to overstate calories for me.
First I tried activity level 1.8, thinking I have a desk job but make sure to get 10k steps a day. And 1.4 is basic/sedentary. Came up with 2250 to maintain, which is high. I know my # is more like 1800-1900.
Then I tried activity level 1.4, lowest possible, it came up with 1750. If I were totally inactive - did not aim for 10k steps per day (without effort maybe only 2500-5000/day) my actual maintenance would be more like 1500.0 -
It gives me ~2050, with reasonable inputs. Actual for me is about 150 calories higher than that, based on a year of intake and loss records. So less than 10% error, which is decent.0

A re-work of Kevin D Hall's work, I find the default activity level to be too high and the fixed intake somewhat simplistic, but it does demonstrate how you need to adapt as you lose weight.0
